Entrepreneur Interview: Rustam Sengupta, Tuktu Care
Going beyond just matching for older adult needs
Tuktu brings new tech to an old industry.
Started in the Vancouver area in Canada, Rustam Sengupta has built a bottom-up, community-driven model with smart tech, to fulfill lifestyle needs of older adults by connecting them to local care providers and companions.
Modeled like Shopify, another Canadian company, Tuktu is taking the friction out of the industry and using technology to bring back a model of community care that is refreshing. But Tuktu is not all about technology.
In this fascinating interview with Rustam, an old friend, I had the opportunity to understand his personal motivations, the journey, the people and technology behind Tuktu, and also how he sees it evolve over the next couple of years.
